NADA Hudson is a site-specific project produced by the New Art Dealers Alliance, which will build upon the character of a historic venue in showcasing contemporary sculpture, installation and performance.
LMAKprojects is pleased to announce that we will be participating in NADA Hudson the weekend of July 28-29 2012. We will be presenting an installation by Elana Herzog and a video by Carlos Rigau. The installation Untiteld (Spiral), 2012 is a suspended wood sculpture which is hanged at seven points. Carlos Rigau will be presenting ‘Learning to Squeeze’ which is about 9 would be child actors and actresses where asked to express emotions of anger. All of the participants are different race and gender. The binding factor amongst these children is there American middle class upbringing. Through this work the everyday problem of America’s middle class are possibly revealed.
